{"id":120140,"date":"2026-01-22T19:57:05","date_gmt":"2026-01-22T19:57:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bhsg.com\/jobs\/job\/1443827_1769111825-senior-it-project-manager-fair-lawn-new-jersey\/"},"modified":"2026-01-24T05:19:48","modified_gmt":"2026-01-24T05:19:48","slug":"1443827_1769111825-senior-it-project-manager-fair-lawn-new-jersey","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/bhsg.com\/jobs\/job\/1443827_1769111825-senior-it-project-manager-fair-lawn-new-jersey\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior IT Project Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4><strong><a id=\"myCustomID\" href=\"https:\/\/bhsg.com\/jobs\/job\/1443827_1769111825\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>HYBRID- 3X DAYS ON-SITE <\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li>Supporting the successful coordination and delivery of the IT Programme<\/li><li>Be instrumental in building a tailored PMO function in the US IT team, ingesting existing &amp; new projects into the framework and providing ongoing management support<\/li><li>To deliver assigned change Programs and standalone IT Projects on time, within budget and quality.<\/li><li>Weekly meeting cadence with PMO team and stakeholders to review project artifacts &amp; progress<\/li><li>Support, motivate, guide, coach and develop the IT PMs in Project Management including definition of scope, objectives, planning, stage gates, quality criteria &amp; communication plans, ensuring involvement of all relevant stakeholders<\/li><li>Develop detailed project plans to set deadlines, assign responsibilities\/resources and monitor progress of own projects with standard PM artifacts such as risk registers, RACIs, test plans, and training documentation<\/li><li>Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques<\/li><li>Show leadership in managing key stakeholders and maintaining communications plans<\/li><li>Drafting and reviewing Project Mandates to ensure initiatives align to the Business and IT strategies<\/li><li>Scope and business case management &amp; collation through the PMO<\/li><li>Perform discovery efforts to compare solutions and vendors that meet the business needs, IT standards and budgeting requirements<\/li><li>Ensure structured Quality control\/procedures and processes are in place and adhered to<\/li><li>Risk &amp; Change Management. Ensure that Project risks, issues and constraints are &#8216;rolled-up&#8217; to the wider IT Programme, driving risk-mitigation, issue-resolution and constraint-management at a Programme level; managing, supporting and updating as needed<\/li><li>Prepare and deliver updates for assigned programs in a timely manner<\/li><li>Prepare Project Status Reports, collate &amp; review PSRs from the PM team and issue weekly to stakeholders and IT<\/li><li>Working with other internal functions such as BAs, IT Operations, IT Apps &amp; Data teams, Master Data Team, Database team &amp; Data Architects to determine their roles in projects, and track their contributions<\/li><li>Build strong working and strategic relationships with a variety of suppliers, augmenting internal teams where needed to deliver the Programme, and ensuring suppliers adhere to high quality on-scope, on-time, on-budget delivery<\/li><li>Deputize for the Director of Projects and Innovation as needed including assisting in the creation, presentation and ongoing upkeep of IT strategies, business-steering, senior level communications and other administrative duties<\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Required Skills:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li>Retail industry experience is required<\/li><li>A proven background in delivering IT change initiatives in a complex organization, retail preferred<\/li><li>Experience in varied project methodologies with the ability to know when to work &#8216;agile&#8217; and when to work &#8216;waterfall&#8217; while applying the correct level of governance to stay delivery-focused<\/li><li>Understanding the running of a PMO is advantageous and a desire to make this a career path<\/li><li>Experience in managing multiple projects concurrently in a mixed-delivery environment of both internal and external delivery teams and shared multi-project resources<\/li><li>Ability to work, and lead, under pressure &#8211;
