The Generalist will work closely with the department to ensure that up-to-date policies comply with all relevant laws. The Generalist reports to the Senior Vice President of People and Talent.<\/p><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Manage new\u2011hire onboarding, ensuring smooth and engaging employee experience.<\/li><li>Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system.<\/li><li>Process employee changes, terminations, leaves of absence, and benefits enrollments.<\/li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.<\/li><li>Support benefits administration including enrollment, changes, and employee education.<\/li><li>Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate processing of employee data.<\/li><li>Assist in updating HR policies and employee handbooks.<\/li><li>Support internal audits and ensure compliance with HR regulations.<\/li><li>Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.<\/li><li>Manage unemployment claims and coordinate the necessary documentation.<\/li><li>Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations;
